Jae's practice in intellectual property law focuses on national and international utility patent prosecution with a concentration in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. In addition, she also prosecutes design patent and trademark applications in the United States for global corporations in several technology areas including consumer goods and appliances, industrial equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
Jae is currently enrolled part-time in a Masters of Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and expects to graduate in May 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Jae was an IP strategy consultant for start-up companies at a biotechnology incubator and for Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She advised inventors and start-up companies in the field of biotechnology including diagnostics, tissue engineering, medical devices, stem cell products, vaccines, and blood markers.
